Terms and Conditions of Festi Gift Card

The gift card is for payment of goods and services provided by Festi hf. kt. 540206-2010, i.e. ELKO, Krónan, Lyfja and N1. The cards are characterized by Gjafakort Festi, are the property of Festi hf. and issued in cooperation with Landsbankann hf., hereinafter referred to as issuers.

The cardholder can stop the usage of its card during normal office hours by calling Landsbankinn's customer service at 410 4000 or sending an e-mail to gjafakort@festi.is

The card holds value, and should therefore be taken care of the same way as cash. These are holder cards, and a lost card is lost money. The cardholder is responsible for all payments made as a result of the use of the gift card. The issuers of the card are not liable for damages resulting from legal acts, government action, strike or other such circumstances, power failure, interference with telephone networks or other means of communication or transportation.

The issuers of the card are not responsible for any damage or inconvenience, due to the receipt being rejected as payment by the merchant. Any dispute or damage resulting from the purchase of a product or service, paid with the card, is completely irrelevant and without liability to its issuer.

The card has a QR code that can be scanned to see the balance of the gift card. The balance of the gift card expires if the card is not used within 2 years of its issuance.

Festi hf. does not refund the amounts paid to the gift card nor the costs of shipping and packing.
